# O que é Trading Perpétuo?

### **O que são Perpétuos?**

Perpétuos, swaps perpétuos ou perps são um tipo especial de contrato futuro sem data de vencimento.

O Trading de futuros permite que os usuários entrem em posições com margem (alavancagem) usando fundos emprestados para otimizar o capital. Usar alavancagem permite que um usuário entre em uma posição com um tamanho maior do que o saldo da sua conta. Por exemplo, um usuário poderia usar 10× de alavancagem e negociar 100 CAKE pelo preço de 10 CAKE — neste caso, a margem inicial seria de 10 CAKE, usada como colateral para a posição alavancada.

Além da alavancagem, os futuros abrem a possibilidade de negociar em ambas as direções — comprando (long) e vendendo (short). Os contratos perpétuos não expiram e permitem que o titular negocie a ação de preço de um ativo subjacente sem possuí-lo.
