# Como obter veCAKE?

Assim como o pool de Staking de CAKE de prazo fixo, para aproveitar os benefícios do veCAKE, basta bloquear CAKE por um período de tempo.

Acesse <https://pancakeswap.finance/cake-staking?chain=bsc> e conecte sua carteira. Observe que o Staking de veCAKE está disponível apenas na BNB Chain.

## Escolha o valor e a duração do bloqueio

À esquerda, você pode inserir a quantidade de CAKE que deseja bloquear.

À direita, você pode escolher a duração do bloqueio do seu CAKE. A duração mínima de bloqueio é de 1 semana, e a duração máxima de bloqueio foi estendida para 4 anos.

Para selecionar rapidamente a duração do bloqueio, use os botões de ação rápida para escolher entre: 1 semana, 1 mês, 6 meses, 1 ano e 4 anos.

## Aprove o gasto de CAKE e inicie o bloqueio <a href="#abd2285e-6773-43d2-b6fb-135bbf93e36f" id="abd2285e-6773-43d2-b6fb-135bbf93e36f"></a>

Após confirmar, clique em "Bloquear CAKE" para prosseguir. Um modal de carregamento aparecerá. E sua carteira deverá solicitar que você confirme o gasto de CAKE. Confirme a transação na carteira para continuar.

Após a execução da transação de aprovação de gasto de CAKE, outro pop-up da carteira deve aparecer. Confirme essa transação para bloquear CAKE e obter veCAKE.

Após confirmar, você deverá ver os detalhes da sua posição de Staking de veCAKE à esquerda, com a quantidade de CAKE bloqueado e o horário de desbloqueio. E, o mais importante, seu número de veCAKE.
