# 무기한 선물 거래란 무엇인가요?

### **무기한 선물이란?**

무기한 선물(Perpetuals), 무기한 스왑(perpetual swaps), 또는 퍼프(perps)는 만기일이 없는 특별한 유형의 선물 계약입니다.

선물 거래를 이용하면 차입한 자금으로 증거금(레버리지)을 활용해 포지션에 진입하여 자본을 효율적으로 운용할 수 있습니다. 레버리지를 사용하면 계정 잔액보다 더 큰 규모의 포지션에 진입할 수 있습니다. 예를 들어 10배 레버리지를 사용하면 10 CAKE의 가격으로 100 CAKE를 거래할 수 있으며, 이 경우 초기 증거금은 10 CAKE로 레버리지 포지션의 담보 역할을 합니다.

레버리지 외에도 선물은 매수(롱)와 매도(숏) 양방향 거래를 가능하게 합니다. 무기한 계약은 만기가 없으며, 보유자는 기초 자산을 소유하지 않고도 해당 자산의 가격 움직임을 거래할 수 있습니다.
