## **veCAKE란 무엇인가요?**

veCAKE는 vote-escrowed CAKE(투표 에스크로 CAKE)를 의미합니다. 전송할 수 없으며, veCAKE를 얻는 유일한 방법은 CAKE를 스테이킹하는 것입니다. 최대 락업 기간은 4년이며, CAKE를 오래 락업할수록 더 많은 veCAKE를 받게 됩니다.

veCAKE 토큰은 PancakeSwap 거버넌스에서 중요한 역할을 하며, PancakeSwap [거버넌스 제안](https://pancakeswap.finance/voting)과 게이지 투표 시스템에 적극적으로 참여할 수 있게 해 줍니다. 이를 통해 더 폭넓은 거버넌스 제안에 투표하고 유동성 풀 내 CAKE 발행량 배분에 영향을 미칠 수 있습니다.
