# Cos'è il Trading Perpetuo?

### **Cosa sono i Perpetuals?**

I perpetuals, i perpetual swap, o perps sono un tipo speciale di contratto futures senza data di scadenza.

Il trading futures consente agli utenti di aprire posizioni in margine (leva finanziaria) utilizzando fondi presi in prestito per ottimizzare il capitale. L'utilizzo della leva finanziaria consente a un utente di aprire una posizione di dimensioni maggiori rispetto al saldo del proprio account. Ad esempio, un utente potrebbe prendere una leva 10× e fare trading con 100 CAKE al prezzo di 10 CAKE — in questo caso, il margine iniziale sarebbe 10 CAKE, utilizzato come collaterale per la posizione con leva.

Oltre alla leva finanziaria, i futures aprono la possibilità di fare trading in entrambe le direzioni — acquistare (long) e vendere (short). I contratti perpetual non scadono e consentono al detentore di fare trading sull'andamento del prezzo di un asset sottostante senza possederlo.
