# Cos'è veCAKE?

## **Cos'è veCAKE?**

veCAKE sta per vote-escrowed CAKE. Non è trasferibile e l'unico modo per acquisire veCAKE è mettere in Staking CAKE. Il tempo massimo di blocco è 4 anni; più a lungo blocchi i tuoi CAKE, più veCAKE riceverai.

## **Qual è lo scopo di veCAKE?**

I token veCAKE svolgono un ruolo fondamentale nella Governance di PancakeSwap, permettendoti di partecipare attivamente alle [proposte di governance](https://pancakeswap.finance/voting) di PancakeSwap e al sistema di Gauges Voting. Questo ti consente di votare su proposte di governance più ampie e di influenzare l'allocazione delle emissioni di CAKE all'interno dei pool di Liquidità.

**Governance:** Vota sulle proposte di governance per questioni relative alle approvazioni dei gauge, modifiche al protocollo, aggiustamenti delle emissioni, ecc.

**Ricompense di Liquidità:** Amplifica le ricompense CAKE in modo simile a bCAKE quando fornisci Liquidità a v3, v2, StableSwap o position manager in sequenza. Questa sequenza inizia con BNB Chain v3 il 27 novembre 2023, seguita da BNB Chain v2 e i Position Manager.
