Position Managers Sunset

Overview Position Managers on PancakeSwap—Bril, Defiedge, Teahouse, Range, and Alpaca—were integrated third-party vault strategies that automatically managed V3 liquidity positions. They helped optimize liquidity placement, rebalance ranges, and reduce the need for manual position management.

What’s changing? As part of product streamlining, Position Managers will be retired from the PancakeSwap interface.

Key dates

• May 21, 2025, 08:00 UTC – Deposits into Position Manager vaults via PancakeSwap will be disabled. Withdrawals remain available.

• June 21, 2025, 08:00 UTC – Final deadline to withdraw via the main interface. After this, the feature will be removed from the main UI, but withdrawals will still be possible through pancakeswap.finance/position-managers.

After the sunset date

• No new deposits will be possible via PancakeSwap’s interface.

• Withdrawals will only be available through pancakeswap.finance/position-managers

• As position managers may not actively manage your positions, vaults may shift to wide, unmanaged ranges, increasing impermanent loss risk.

What should you do?

• Withdraw assets from Position Manager vaults before June 21, 2025 to maintain full control.

• After withdrawal, you can manage your V3 liquidity manually on PancakeSwap
